We provide safety and convenience to depositors, lend money to small businesses, farms and individuals in the community, purchase local government bonds, participate in and lead local non-profit groups, and support many area charitable causes. This happens, not because of a federal mandate, but because a community bank’s health is tied directly to the community in which it serves.
